Phil Rudd pleads guilty and will spend some time behind bars
Former AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd entered a guilty plea to charges of methamphetamine and cannabis possession and one count of threatening to kill in a New Zealand court. Rudd’s attorney said that he will seek a “discharge without conviction”. Sentencing for Phil Rudd is scheduled for June 26th, according to the report. A second charge of threatening to kill has reportedly been dropped. Rudd was arrested following a police raid on his New Zealand home on November 6th of last year. AC/DC recently replaced Phil Rudd with former AC/DC drummer Chris Slade.
