Beyond The Scores – June 24, 2015
Last night at Wrigley Field, a Cubs fan made an amazing barehanded catch in the stands. This dude caught a ball, one handed, while bottle feeding a baby with the other.
One problem…this catch, although amazing, prevented Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez from making the third out of the inning. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly rightly challenged the call on fan interference, and the third out was eventually given.
It seems baseball fans are outdoing themselves this year to catch game balls. Earlier this week an Oakland fan caught a foul ball while holding a child at the same time.
