AC/DC Joins Music Streaming Services

Finally, ACDC has given permission for their music to be featured on various streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. The songs will appear online as early as today. ACDC has always been late to the digital music distribution party. Back in 2008, Brian Johnson said:

“iTunes is a monster and it’s going to ruin music if they’re not careful. If we were on iTunes, we know a certain percentage of people would only download two or three songs from the album — and we don’t think that represents us musically.”

Johnson has clearly had a change of heart since then as ACDC’s catalog was added to iTunes in 2012, following in the footsteps of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and Metallica.
