Jerry Lewis, Comedy Legend, Dies at 91

JERRY LEWIS died of natural causes yesterday at the age of 91.  He was famous for his comedy movies from the ’60s . . . his early partnership with DEAN MARTIN . . . and his annual telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

 He did telethons for them from 1952 to 1959, and then hosted one EVERY Labor Day weekend from 1966 to 2010.

 Over the years, he raised over $2.6 BILLION for MDA . . . but in 2011, he was pushed out, and no longer did the telethons or was associated with the organization.  And the telethon was discontinued in 2015.
