‘Party of Five’ reboot with multicultural twist is in the works

Party of Five creators Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman are joining the reboot craze.

While a network is not yet attached, some plot points have been worked out. There will be a new immigration twist, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This time it’s about a first-generation Latino family who have immigrated to the U.S. and are living through the highs and lows of life in America.

The show ran for six seasons on Fox (1994-2000) and focused on siblings who come together after their parents die: Bailey (Scott Wolf), Charlie (Matthew Fox), Julia (Neve Campbell), Claudia (Lacey Chabert) and their baby brother Owen.
